    How to Make a Record Request

    The Online Vehicle Information Service (OVIS), in collaboration with the Transportation Cabinet, provides online access to Kentucky title, lien, and registration data. You can make a request by submitting the following list of forms:
    • Motor Vehicle and Boat Records (TC96-16A)
    • Personal Information for Motor Vehicle Fuel Theft (TC96-16B)
    • Governmental Organizations Vehicle Records (TC96-16G)
    • Towing and storage companies, as well as creditors in possession, have made a request (TC96-16T) ​
    Actually, you may submit the request by mail or let the package in the drop-box.
    As mentioned above you’ll get the results within 3 to 5 days.
